Venturus has just launched the 2025/2026 Technology Radar, a report that explores the emerging technologies and innovation trends set to shape the market in the coming years—offering companies insight into where new opportunities may lie.
This year’s edition focuses on four main areas: Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Blockchain, and Emerging Technologies. The Radar emphasizes that these domains won’t just impact the tech industry—they will influence society at large and spark critical conversations across sectors.
What Is the Technology Radar?
Marcelo Abreu, CTO of Venturus, describes the Radar as a way to “map trending technologies, both for solution development and market evolution.”
The document acts as a technology roadmap, helping guide the creation of new offerings, product strategies, team training, and research priorities.
Venturus has been publishing the Radar since 2018. This year’s edition features not only in-house expertise but also insights from partners like IBM, Microsoft, Dell, and Quati, a company focused on Quantum Computing.
AI and Quantum Computing in the Spotlight
Artificial Intelligence, now considered a mainstream technology, is featured as a critical pillar for the future, especially as it evolves in areas like functionality, governance, and ethics.
“We’ve seen AI’s analytical capabilities expand significantly, enabling more accurate predictions,” says Thiago Viola, Director of AI, Data, and Automation at IBM. “When we bring governance into the picture, we ensure these opportunities are leveraged responsibly.”
Quantum Computing, meanwhile, is positioned as a disruptive innovation, opening new paths for market adoption. The Radar highlights applications such as:
- Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) for data protection
- Advanced Quantum Optimization for use in finance and healthcare
- Quantum Simulation to accelerate scientific discovery
“There’s a long road ahead,” says Anderson Santos, Quantum Consultant and Venturus Quantum Center contributor. “This report highlights the areas we believe are most promising to pursue and develop.”
Blockchain and Other Emerging Technologies
The report also dives into the impact of Blockchain, spotlighting innovations like Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and Commodity Tokenization, which aim to modernize financial systems and streamline transactions.
“I see huge potential in this space,” says Igor Coser from the Venturus Blockchain team. “Especially in the use of RWAs—real-world tokenized assets. But I’m sure new use cases will emerge that we haven’t even imagined yet.”
Among the other emerging technologies featured in the report are:
- Web3 – the next evolution of a decentralized internet
- Advanced Robotics – for industrial and space applications
- Integrated Sustainability (ESG) – as a growing strategic priority
- Wearable AI and Digital Twins – offering new ways to enhance user experience and process optimization
